Hi im back with some more questions and a story!

So what's going on everyone, quick question. so recently i found this girl on facebook i used to go elementary school with, we were pretty kiddy close back then. So i added her and we messaged away.

As far as i can tell she's still pretty cool. So i decided to ask her out for some coffee and perhaps Dinner. She replied with a yes.

Then i told my buddy about it, he said "you got a date!". Does that make it really a date? coffee and dinner to catch up? after all these years. But anyways so both of our schedule is pretty packed.

So i asked for her number yesterday, so we can talk over what time and days work for both of us. and i gave her mine. But she hasnt gave me hers yet haha. It's been a day already my god! i know its short but it feels like forever. But yeah...What do you guys think. is she testing the water or what?

she could be testing the water, and you should be too. Don't be too serious with/around her and just be friendly and not too pushy. After all, you don't REALLY know her or what her life is currently like. If there's chemistry and she's interested in you and vice versa, things should be easy enough from there.

I agree with Charlie in trying not to act like it was a date. It won't necessarily ruin your chances with her and it won't exactly makes things any better. Just getting to know her should be your top priority.
