Do koreans date out of their race?

I have a serious crush on a korean guy who was born in korea but have been educated in US since high school. I myself have similar background but I am Chinese. He is smart and caring, and he sometimes jokes with me in awkward Chinese (he studied some Chinese in college). Seriously I've never been attracted to a Chinese guy to such an extent. Our relationship so far is kind of vague.
Do traditional koreans mind dating out of their race? Do we have a possibility?

Hints?? Hints suck! Don't give him hints. Be direct. Otherwise, have low expectations, because hints alone are probably not going to even make him aware of your feelings

The Americanized Koreans I know definitely date outside their race. I don't know any Korean born Koreans well enough to know the details of their personal lives... Sorry

Like treating him in a super nice way (did him a favor that is beyond ordinary friends); some suggestive words; inviting him to birthday party

If he is straight from Korea, there may be cultural issues at hand. Have you ever asked him how his parents feel about him dating a Westernized girl? If you have a general conversation with him about their dating expectations, you might be able to get a better idea of his mindset.

That's a good idea. I will poke on that topic.
Actually he is not straight from Korea, but he stayed there before high school. Thus his cultural identity was largely fixed by that time.
