HELP!! i don't understand anymore

Basically this girl that i knew last year which i haven't talked till 2 days ago online. I started talking to her telling her that i ignored her last year because my friend told me that she said i was a jerk and she told me that my friend told her the same thing. I was confessing to this girl that i was guilty for being mean too her. I also wounder last year she wanted me to buy her all kinds of things. This year i asked her if she wanted anything she told me no i don't want anything. I don't know either my confessings i ve told her broke her heart and made her feel bad since i told her the real reason me and my friend which is a girl aren't friends anymore was because of her.
