I've always inhaled the portland, and masonry when mixing cement, but it was so windy the other day, I actually got a mouthful of the shit and had to rinse my mouth out, it tasted so bad. I was literally coughing and spitting up cement.

Not only that, but when I got home, and blew my nose in the shower, I looked down to see there was actually small cement rocks in my snot.

Hey man, I'm still working at a machine shop for a while. That shit is no good for my lungs either...and not good for my skin. I know what it is like...it sucks.

I think the closest to this I will probably get is working at a grain bin this next summer.... all that beautiful grain... into my lungs.

Actually, I did go hay bailing once, and boy the after effects for that were quite a bitch. I was coughing and sneezing for 3 weeks.

I've done this, sanding drywall plaster, BTW. So you're not unique in your stupidity, but the dust can really bugger your breathing later on.
