- Do half the cooking and cleaning (but usually more because most guys can't be bothered)
- Pay plan for all dates and vacations together with the husband
- Give massages
- Routinely provide sex even if they are not in the mood and don't want to do it, just to please their man
- Consistently try to get the message across to their man "Stop giving me expensive gifts and just make me happy instead".
- Give birth
- look after the children
- Sacrifice her career and work in favour of looking after the family and raising kids
- Provide companionship, emotional support and encouragement in most areas of the guy's life.
- Sacrifice her decisions and direction of the family in favour of the guy's plans (usually)
- Put up with being blamed for faults that most times aren't even hers
- Put up with the pain of being consistently misunderstood because guys don't usually operate on the "emotional level"
- Put up with emotionally exhausting routines that guys like to engage in
- Put up with all of the above because society and usually even her family routinely encourage her that this is the way it should be
