We like each other, what next?

    Hi,

I met this girl 5 weeks ago. To be precise she was a soldier of mine. Last week she finished the course and we (All the soldiers and staff) organized a little party to celebrate it.

That night she was all over me, I am not sure if it was the alcohol or something else, but it was really fun and we clicked right away.

Through a friend of her I came to know that she has a eye on me and she likes me. We met yesterday again for a cup of coffee and all was nice and great.

But what next? I am afraid to call her too often, because I don't want to look desperate about her.

You need to talk to her if you are thinking about her.... what is putting you off?

Since Thursday I have been talking to her at least once a day.
But I am getting the feeling I am showing some kind of "desperation" if I keep calling her all the time.

    Soldier of yours?

You'll have to explain that a little more.

I am an intelligence course instructor. Every course is about 5 weeks and we get both male and female soldiers. After 5 weeks there's something called "distance-breaker", when all the instructors freely talk about themselves and with the other soldiers.

To celebrate the end of the course we all organized a little party at on of the soldier's house.

Yeah, I think that's the best idea for now.

I will only be able to meet her again the coming Thursday, because she stays at the base for the whole week.

The same goes for me, but I got a week off.

Being an instructor, this means you have excellent communication skills. I am sure you can know what she likes and that will make things easier for both of you. I got to know now how sensitive you are.. but I think she has feeling towards you else she won't be talking to you.

But you're just an instructor, right? You're not actually IN the military, right?

You need to rethink what you write sometimes. Just because a girl is talking to a guy doesn't mean that she has feelings towards him. I'm in a nursing program filled with women and I am pretty sure they all don't have feelings for me since I talk with most of them daily.

It's a joke... for a guy to be in a profession that helps people when they're injured? Regardless, I have to go through it to get into my graduate program. You can laugh all you want, but when I'm finished I'll be bringing in $175,000 per year with six years of school.

And I don't think you should be laughing at anyone, Miss Illiterate.

Sorry I am not a miss .. I am a Dr .. and Mrs as well student.. Rethink before you write... READ THE Title of the Thread before you write a single word... 'We like each other, what next?' or do you know better than him>...Might be, why not? you may have been talking with them as a third party... who knows ..
