I almost mowed down 4 teenagers.

After I made the exit from the highway into my town, I proceeded to make a left turn into a local street when 4 teens ran out into the street without looking and bouncing basketballs. As soon as I saw, I stomped on the brakes. As soon as they saw, they made a fast dash. Two dashed to the sidewalk and the other two dashed to the middle of the road on the yellow line.

I apologize in advance for all the Asian drivers if I put out a bad name and I would like to announce that I am not the typical driver. Yes, if you ride with me, you are signing your life away to me for the duration of the ride.

I say this time wasn't my fault because those teens just ran out playing ball. I did stop in time and no one was hurt.

It's a double whammy. She's Asian AND female.

see, this type of stereotype doesn't bother me at all because it only applies to females drivers that drive expensive cars. pears, i dunno what happened to you.

I took 20 hours of drivers ed plus 50 hours practice driving with my father before I took the roads by myself.

Most people get by with just 6 hours of instructed driving.

Anyways, I don't think I did anything wrong in this situation. It was just bad luck. The teens running out into the street right as my light turned green does not make me a bad driver. If anything, I was good with reacting to the situation and stopping.
