What word do you think I should have used ??? mothering or spoiling ??? We had a talk about what went wrong when we moved in together,I had been tight lipped about what I could see ,doing everything for her daughter ,washing, cooking ,etc even after she had done a hard days work us both cooking a meal ,then she makes up a tray puts the dinner on it and takes it to her daughter who is in bed (not Sick),that got me!!! we were on holiday and she got a txt "mum can you bring back a new laptop in pink please?" done !! now I said that I thought she was mothering to much ,well did the Sh.t hit the fan !!! I didn't mean mothering as in nuturing ,but as in doing to much !! should I have used the word SPOILING???

If you are so offended by the way she spoils her daughter, maybe you should look for a woman whose parenting skills you have more admiration for.

The daughter is 20 ,and up untill 6months age couldn't boil an egg!!! I would of thought that at that age you would have more life skills ,for when you leave home ,I'd call the home a hotel !! all is done for her so there is no reason to leave home??
