My girlfriend broke up with me yesterday saying we don't match as a couple but she loves me to bits as a mate.

I'm crazy about her but talking to a couple who are my friends they said it sounds she has her eyes on someone else, do you think that's the case.

I don't want to give up on her but after hearing her reasons for breaking up do you think this is one worth pursuing or do you think i'll just end up feeling worse?

Don't want to feel paranoid about this but it just doesn't seem like a strong enough reason for breaking up with someone, maybe i'm just looking too much into it.

Any advice or opinions are welcome. thanks

If she really believes you both don't match well together then it's a very valid reason for breaking up. The problem is that she may also be using it as a reason for breaking up because she has her eyes on someone else.

Regardless, you shouldn't pursue it anymore. If you don't match, it won't work. If she's interested in someone else, you shouldn't want to be second best (if even that).
