In Florida? As in the United States?? Geezus, Grib, that made me cry. Kudos to whoever noticed and phoned that in.

We need to know our neighbours better. Even if they completely suck, b/c you just never know.

Oh, and mandatory birth control. Anyone else want to argue the point?

You'd be surprised how many people live like that.

The imagery of that dump reminds me of my father's when I went to go visit him 5 years ago.

Yep, I agree anachronistic. It's sad.

Without proper stimulation in the first years you can make an otherwise healthy minded child mental disabled.

So about the human mind... if you aren't raised properly, within those infant years, you end up being feral? That's a pretty interesting thought...

I guess it shows how close to animals we REALLY are.

    that's horrible.

too bad there's so many cases of abuse and neglect yet nobody has the guts to say anything. most of the time many people know what's going on.

I worry about her especially because she's so pretty. Somewhere, there's some creep who would love to get his hands on her. He could do anything he liked, and she could never tell...

I hope she gets the care and protection she needs.

See, this is why I support the death sentence. So that "mom" can get the chair. Unfortunately, some guy that sold a few people weed will spend 1000 times the time in jail. How ****ed up is that

    Agreed. Very ****ed up.

I think we should all have to have a license to breed.

This one didn't get help in time. Also recent, from Canada. No death penalty here, sadly:

I can't even read that story. One glance at the smiling child's face was more than I could take.

Very good story, so sad to see things like that go on. I am happy it ended well, I was thinking it was going to be another one of those tragic news stories with an even worse ending.

Limiting population growth or the number of children allowed would solve so many problems. Along with providing state-funded abortions.
