I've been in a relationship with my girlfriend for four years and every so often she seems to get really annoyed and seems to lose interest in me, but then a few days later everything is back to normal... What is she thinking? Is this normal? Is it me?

Try (discretely) keeping track of how often these moods come and go to see if there is any pattern. It sounds like PMS.
