Was it just a story or was he indirecting?

Recently, this guy i've been seeing has been getting really close with his ex. She's been showing up at his house almost everyday wearing very little clothes that could pass for belts instead of skirts.

Last night, we were talking and he said to me he wants to see just how much I can take. Then he said that she came to his house & she sat on top of him and began kissing him and stripping him and stripping herself. He then said that she whispered to him, "I bet that *(my name*) can't do this" and then they had sex. Then he said that he told her that he doesn't think I can do it like her because I'm not giving him any...Then he said that when she was leaving his house she sarcastically told him to tell me she said hello. Then he said he was joking.

Now I'm not one to over-react but this just seems a little to real to be fake. I think that was his way of confessing because he likes doing this kind of story-telling thing to get his feelings out and that.

Do you guys think I'm over-reacting & not taking it like he said? Or do you think he is trying to indirectly tell me?
