Why do guys hate when women cut their hair?

I cut my hair a few weeks ago. At first I strongly disliked it, but the other day I slicked it down with alot of gel. So now, I accepted it. Alot of people said they liked it, but a couple guys were getting mad at me and saying how could I cut my hair. I was like, arent I entitled to do what the **** I want? Its MY hair,I wanted a change especially with how hot St Thomas has been. So guys, why do you hate when women cut their hair so much? Dont we have a choice to do what we want?

I think in general you are right about men not liking woman as much with short hair.

I think it has to do with femininity. Long hair is more girly and feminine. I know that every time I go to the hairdresser my partner worriedly asks "How much are you going to get cut?"

It has nothing to do with femininity, IMO. It has to do with most women looking like ass with short hair.

My point is that a woman having short hair isn't unattractive to me because it's not feminine. It has nothing to do with femininity.
