So, I met this guy that I really like. He started asking about homework one day and me and this other girl responded to him. He moved seats and sat next to me after a few minutes and said "Hope you don't mind if I sit here". Ever since then, we've bonded. We have tons in common and at first, I invited him over a couple of times and he got nervous and refused. Now, he invites me over to watch tv and we spend the whole time talking instead. He's touched the back of my head and playfully kicked my feet (like playing footsie, I guess) in class but other than that, we've never had any kind of physical contact.

But IDK. For one, I admitted I have a bf. I don't know how long we're going to last, though. I just felt guilty and didn't want to lie to him so I fessed up about being currently taken. I told him about some of the stuff we've been through and then we had a really long talk about him and his ex. He never fully got over her, they no longer have contact with eachother and he told me he's been trying to find "another angel" but he doesn't know how and he "feels hollow".

He also doesn't give off a lot of body language signals that I'm aware of. He's never gone out of his way to see me other than days we have class together and that's only for 45 minutes between our class and his next class. I passed him on my way to the bookstore today and he just said "Hey again!" and kept walking by me even though I slowed down.

I don't know if he maybe likes me or if he's just really friendly and talkative. I'm sure if he did/does, the bf thing probably pushed him back, which I totally understand. I just wish I knew! Any theories?

I think he's still on the recovery stage. Maybe he love his ex that he cannot move on easily. Just give him time to recover. Its really not easy to be hurt

Be patient too. Just wait till he likes you.

I don't know about him but when a girl tells me she has a BF I prefer to skip the drama and not bother.

the fact u have a bf if probably confusing him more then you are right now. Doesn't make sense to him.

We, women would want to feed our ego most of the times cut the bf thing if you like the guy go ahead but don't declare your love just give hints
