A guy calls me a wrong name!?

a guy seems like me, he is my new classmate and know each other for a few weeks.. sometimes we chat in the hallway and go to the bus stop together...


but today when we chat, I asked if he knows my name..he said: **? (gives me a not-so-sure look) ..that is not my name...and it is another girl's name...

so does this mean he is not interested or at least doesn't care about me that much? what does this mean?
