New Year Resolutions (post them here)

I have a not so original one...to quit smoking! Also, to start eating well and exercising regularly.

    Here are mine:

    1. Volunteer. Just something I keep saying I'm going to do when I have the time. Well, I'm resigned to the fact that I'm never really going to have the time, so I'm going to make the time. Charity events no longer count, and while I'll still attend them, I'm going to also get out there on the weekends and do something.

    2. Start up my personal training again. When I lost my job I had to let my sessions run out, but now I think I can afford them again. Plus, I really miss my hot trainer. He's turning out to be a nice friend, and the only person who has ever gotten me this motivated to work out.

    3. Be more proactive about making plans. I tend to be a very lazy planner, and mostly just go along with what my friends want to do. I end up at bars I don't like or seeing bands that suck, and I want this trend to stop. My resolution is to plan more stuff out that I want to do, like a trivia night or a night at pinball bar. There's so much cool stuff to do here, and if allow myself to be dragged to another lame bar by my uncreative friends, I'll scream.

    4. Cook more. Like, real food. No more Lean Cuisines and Boca burgers.

    5. Put at least 2,000 more dollars into my IRA this year.

I don't make resolutions for the secular New Year. I consider this a time to party.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Hmm... pay off a few debts that still linger after the divorce... (so the less stress idea is definitely out)... buy a new car... possibly find a better job... possibly save up some money and tour Europe in the fall with my boyfriend... and be the best damn girlfriend I can be while my boyfriend is away...

Bring my weight down to 130lbs

Do at least one race by the end of 2009

Approach more females and go on a few dates

Work on my cycling tan lines and put in A LOT more miles which include climbing a few mountains.

I'm 5'9" 135lbs...I was 135lbs 2 years ago my senior year. Hit college stopped running, soccer, working out and went up to 145lbs. Took up cycling in the summer and I'm down to 135lbs now. I want to lose 5 more pounds but it's been very hard. I was down to 133lbs, but that didn't last long.

Not at all...you're normal, perfect weight for that height. I'm just skinny. Cyclists tend to be very skinny. If you don't believe me google Michael Rasmussen. He also has the worlds worst farmers tan. I'm actually roughly the same height/weight as him. He's 5'8.5" and 130lbs.

    1. Lose weight. I need to order my wedding dress next year.

    2. Cut down on my Starbucks addiction.

    3. Get promoted at work. Although it might be hard because the girl they hired just before me is even more of a keener than me.
