Ugh. Issues with my iPod.

I need the ability to hold more than 10,000 songs on this damn thing.

I'm at nearly 1,600 right now and not even close to having all of the music I want. In fact, some of these bands I won't even listen to a ton. But I don't want to remove it.

Anyone have any suggestions on managing an iPod? I organize playlists by artists and just put all of the songs in there, organized by name. I've got some in here that I rarely listen to, but I have a hard time with the idea of removing them because I do listen sometimes.

The only real option is dropping the bit rate on the songs, which would take FOREVER. And quality would suck.

My advice is to stop being lazy - remove the music you don't want to listen to.

Or if you can afford being lazy, get a new Ipod like Joe says. I'll take the old one for free

The problem is I will listen to a song and think I'll listen to it more but I never will. I can't differentiate.

Buy a mini laptop with a large hard drive and use that as a portable media device.

I'm just venting. I ****ing hate organizing this thing.

I don't want to download a full album if I'm only going to keep a few songs from it. So I organize by artist so I can dump the albums there. But I don't want 3 songs in each playlist. But I don't just want 10,000 songs unorganized.

I just don't have any good ideas on the best way to organize it if each artist only has a few songs on it.

Swap playlists from your LT, Cain. That's what I do. All you can do, esp if you watch videos or anything.

Get rid of all playlists, organize everything by artist, get rid of all songs from albums you don't want.

When you want to listen to music, play all songs on shuffle. If you want to listen to something in particular go to the artist.

Simple. That's how I do it.

It is called sell the piece of shit Ipood and buy a awesome zune. I can't believe how much brainwashing Apple did with their overpriced ipod. MP4s and itune files?WTF? GTFO of here apple with your homo gay formats. The zune software is so much ****ing better with tagging music and organizing it that it isn't even funny. Not even slightly comparable.
