So there is this girl she is a freshman in high school im a jr.

She is extremely cute, and a lot of people say I am cute (not trying to be conceded)

So her brother is one of my okay friends, and he is in my grade. We have had a few encounters... They were walking to the car in the parking lot and i was walking past them and her brother said something to me to try and piss me off so i said oh btw your sister is really hot.

And then on facebook i asked her for her bros number cause I needed it, that went pretty well.

And then the next day i messaged her just saying "hey"
and she said hey whats up and we had a small convo but she seemed a little short... So I stopped replying after like 10 messages.

Should I give up or keep trying, or what?

Talk to her in person instead of impersonal means, ie facebook and instant messages. And by the way, it's idiotic to tell someone that their sibling is hot.

not really the way i said it it was more of a joke than anything and it was because he was trying to piss me off so i did it right back to him it wasnt a big deal

If you wanted to make a joke about his sister you don't do it in front of the sister, you do it when all your friends are around, and you say "I couldn't sleep last night because your sister was on my mind and my hand was on something else if you know what I mean?" And then everyone laughs at his expense.
