People may consider some of the language I use as foul, so read at your own risk i guess.

First off, I'm male, 21, and live in a small city in lower Michigan. Never visited this site nor posted on a site of the likes, so why start now? I have no idea why I would start now, maybe just as an outlet to display my thoughts on relationships.

With that, relationships are shit. Maybe I am looking for a light because I only am 21 and I don't really plan on dating again until I'm out of college and have my shit together. My guess is that I will be around 26-30 by the time I finally am together. Our society is ****ed, this is why relationships are ****ed, at least at the teen to lower 20's level. Society makes women think that it is cool to be drunken whores and makes men to be bastards that will do whatever it takes to get a good lay.

Our society has turned into serial monogamy. Basically hidden polygamy. My own take on it is, most people don't feel like terrible human beings, justify sleeping with many people by saying they were "together" with that person while they were ****ing. This is a stellar way to sleep with ten plus people a year but, also saying that you're not a whore because you were monogamous and only ****ing that one person.

I don't care if you think that is justifiable, you are still a slut because serial monogamy is just hidden polygamy.

If you seriously are saying the dreaded "I Love You" to over 10 people in your life and believe that you really mean it or have been married 5 times and divorced 5 times. You're an even bigger whore then the chick who sleeps with 5 different guys a week with no boyfriend. At least she doesn't try to make it look justifiable by saying "oh, I was dating them so it's alright."

I am not saying that I'm a angel of a guy, heh, I admit I tried that and that doesn't work. When you are as young as me, trying to find a long term relationship is a joke. I have no relationship at the moment but when I pick up women at the bar or at a party I tell them that I am in a relationship because for some reason, that just makes them want to sleep with me more. But that is a tale for another time I suppose.
