    How Do You Say...

I've got an English 101 question now:

If your job consists of data entry, what is your job title? Is there an official term or is it whatever anyone wants to call it: "Data Entry ______" where the blank could be assistant or technician, or engineer...okay, engineer is a stretch, but seriously, is there an official job title for this?

Please help..we're trying to get a job posting here at work and I'm trying to translate it from the castillian "Capturista de Datos".

    THanks.

I'd go with data entry specialist myself.

Or i like the term used most commonly, "grunt"
"We are all connected to each other biologically, to the earth chemically and to the rest of the universe atomically.
That’s kinda cool! That makes me smile and I actually feel quite large at the end of that.

Specialist is MUCH better than clerk. Clerk is a lowly position. A specialist is much more prestigious.

    Call in the specialist!

    *suspenseful music*

For some reason this reminds me of the second level in F.E.A.R. They send the "specialist" (you) to take care of the boring simple pressing of a button, while they die while doing the real thing.
