    what do you all think of

    Genital piercings? Yep i said it...genital piercings

    ....No, i'm not getting one but the guy i'm seeing might be getting one. It kinda came out of nowhere when i went in for my piercing, we stayed there for a while talking to the piercer about it. Pretty interesting conversation...

    But genital piercings are kinda taboo, i mean u don't see a lot of men or woman walking around with their genatalia pierced

    And of course we wouldn't know since most ppl are fully clothed walking around but in general not a lot of ppl get piercings down there

    Why bother with the regular risks of piercing (and who knows what happens to intercourse) for something that you can't even show people?

    Sounds like an impulsive thing to regret in a few months.

    I don't think genital piercings are worth it ... for a guy especially ... what good could come out of it? Aside from being "taboo", it's pointless to do something and be the only one to know it (other than a significant other) ...

    I suppose rings on the labia are fairly safe, but I would worry what are the risks of the popular clitoral hood piercings. If I were a woman, I would not want to take a chance that a fumbled piercing might cause nerve damage to the clitoris ... you need those nerves!

    As for the typical male genital piercing (called a "Prince Albert" piercing - look on Wiki for a picture) ... it's grotesque, and it may chip a girl's tooth during oral! I doubt that it does much to stimulate the woman (ladies, tell me if I am wrong) because it is on the head of the penis and a woman has very few nerves beyond the first few inches of her vagina. Besides, guys have enough trouble peeing straight in the morning without a piece of hardware in the urethral opening to further divert the flow.

    Guys get nervous around scissors and knives... so why is a needle somehow acceptable?

    Sharp things near genitalia is never a good idea... male or female. The risk of nerve damage isn't worth the 'aesthetic' appeal.. IMO.
