    Why flowers?

    Hi Guys,

I've got a question. Perhaps you can give some advice. A guy has given me flowers on several occasions. I do not know him but I see him once a week. Well, I told him not to give me flowers because he was married and I felt it was inappropriate. He stopped and then started again. So I called him and asked why and he said he was just trying to be nice. I asked him if it was not better to meet and talk instead (he is getting a divorce now), but he said it was not necessary.
What should I think? Is he shy or what is he doing? Many thanks for your advice!

    Jackie

No, no I was asking why he gives flowers over and over if he does not want to meet. I find it strange. Any idea?

No, not really, I told him we could meet, but I don't know if he is just shy or if he doesn't want to meet.
I have never been in this type of situation before. I simply don't understand the point of giving flowers all the time if you don't want to talk.

Yes, since a long time. It's complicated to explain but yes we see each other every week, but have never met in person.
he is a performer and we see each other but I cannot talk to him. Every week he throws me flowers from the stage and I was tired of it and called him to stop it, he did and started again.

    LOL! Flowers from the stage.

Next time, turn away as he throws one & let it drop to the floor. If you really want to make your point, look him in the eye and crush it slowly with your heel.

Yeah, I know but I still fail to see the point in doing it over and over again.

Some people are stupid and can't take a hint? That's strike two for this guy, even if he wasn't a married jerk.
