Nurse Vashti meet Nurse Jackie

I watched a pilot of the new Showtime series and found it to be pretty amusing. Nurse Jackie is my new icon to be honest. Makes you wanna become a nurse. Also the show covers intricate details of life such as cheating, playing God and drug abuse.

I would highly recommend it.

Remember when CSI was all the rage and suddenly all these students wanted to become forensic scientists before they realized they actually had to work?

i guess. but since i already work in a medical office i can deeply relate to many subjects on the show. like inner office drug abuse especially.

that's what makes this show so appealing to me.

A couple of nurses at work were talking about that show today... they loved it. I haven't seen it.

There's another one coming out called "HawthoRNe" that I think stars Jada Pinkett Smith.

Anyway, I suppose it's nice to see nurses on TV. Most of these hospital shows have few (if any) nurses, and they portray doctors doing all sorts of things that doctors never do in real life.

So I saw the first show, and I have to say I loved it! unfortunately, we don't get Showtime, so I will probably have to wait until it's out on DVD before I can watch all the episodes.

On a semi-related note, I wish Nurse Jackie was in charge of caring for that nut job who killed the security guard at the Holocaust museum. She might be able to do what I would only fantasize about.

i can either mail them to you or have you download them from my FTP. i wouldn't trust anyone else with my FTP though lol. i have tons of great movies stored there as well.
