What the hell?! I don't understand that. Can someone please annotate that?!
Ugly Duckling Syndrome -- Someone that was ugly when they were younger (i.e. short, fat, pimply faced, flat chested, saggy assed, dorky, girl) and then they mature and hit puberty or something and turn beautiful (i.e. tall, skinny, fair skinned, perfect C/D cup boobs, bubbly butted, super model looking, woman).
I dont know anyone like that personally, no. And me ? I would like to think I have that syndrome, but I am affraid I will be ugly for all of time, so no. I dont have the syndrome either.
nope...always been ugly and fat..alway will be probably. dont know any one that has done it either. but i hate it when really skinny girls who are beautiful say they are fat and ugly. that pisses me off.

i was sorta like that. in middle school, i had glasses, braces, long frizzy hair... i wasn't fat, but i was the other way around, i was extremely skinny and gangly... i wasn't anorexic or anything, but looking back at pictures from then, i sure look it *shudders* ick...
i got my braces off in 8th grade, and the summer before freshman year i got contacts, got my hair cut, gained a little weight so i was healthier looking... so i looked a lot different my first day of high school! i don't necessarily think of myself as drop-dead gorgeous or anything, but I suppose I have a heck of a lot more self-esteem and feel good about myself now...
My best friend was sorta the way, just not as drastic. We still laugh at our ol' middle school pics... lol

Also, the ugly duckling syndrome affects people who were dorks in school ... because sometimes one can be good-looking, BUT they're a dork ... so they live their life thinkin that since no one ever approaches them, that they're ugly ... but later on, popularity doesnt matter, but the mentality is still there ...

Yes, back to topic...
I probably have that syndrome... lol... I mean, in public school I was the shy girl and I didn't pay much attention to my looks (and neither did anyone else). Once I hit grade 11, I became more popular and my style changed and I got more attention from boys.
From what people tell me, I look good right now. Although I'm still iffy about it. I guess growing up in the shadows makes it harder to show yourself off.

I have had it, and I guess I still do. I mean, girls my age don't really dig me. But older women and I mean hot older women want to be around me. I just can't tell what the hell is going on? I get compliments, but I never tend to get big headed about it.
To be or not to be?
Is that the question?
I think I got the opposite of this Ugly Duckling Syndrome.. Hmmm..
What's that? The Pretty Skidmark?
Heit ist mein taug.
it's always like this... the pretty girls from hs and college always turn out to be doo doo, and the average and ugly ones, turn out to be HOTTIES. weird ah? raverboy
...this is just my perspective on the situation...
