I think I'm finally over my ex/ex-dates lol

Yes, it's been a rough year. Had a break up with a girl I was going out at college for about 5 or 6 months. It's not really worth going into detail. Yeah, I'm finding out what a bitch she was to me. Had A LOT of dates and they all suuuuuuuuuuccckkeed. Issues, man, issues. "Blablablabla, I miss my ex, blablabla". That's what translated in my head lol. And when I brought my issues to the table, they were freaked out? ROFL WTF ROFL

The only solution I found was to find someone else. I didn't think it would be a girl from a different state. But I am happy being with her. Sad that we are far away from each other, but whatever. I've done it before and I will probably never meet someone as great.

So, yeah, the only really way to get over your exes is to find someone new, guys. By the way, it took me almost 5 months to get over her if not more. I wasn't really keeping track but it felt like an eternity.

Glad your happy and found someone who is worth your time. I have a long distance relationship and it is hard but not impossible. Sometimes i think how lonely i get but when i feel that way i begin to think how this guy makes me feel when we're together. The things he does and says when we're far apart. So i appreciate every little moment i get with him even if it's a little. Breakups are not easy to get over, especially when your with someone for many years (was with ex for 10yrs). But to finally find someone who makes you happy and you can make happy is the best feeling ever!

Sorry, this is an old post. But I am over it despite everything.
I will do my best to reply with an educated, humble and honest answer. Ultimately, it is up to you whether you want to listen to my advice or ignore it completely. Sometimes, my advice may be wrong; occasionally, it will be right. Regardless, I want to do my best to give people answers they are seeking.
