What animals make a home around your house?

There is at least a pair of rabbits that live directly on our property. Also a ground hog / wood chuck type of thing. Also several chipmunks and squirrels. One chipmunk in particular lives right up against our house I think. There is also a fox I see on a regular basis but I don't think he lives right on our property

We get coyotes, rabbits, tons of lizards, owls, raccoons, opossums, snakes, foxes... I can't think of everything because we get a lot. One time, they killed a mountain lion a couple of blocks from my house, and another time, there was a black bear trapped in a tree at a local elementary school.

Well yes we get a most of those things on our property too in passing (except for lizards and mountain lions). Last year a bear was a mile or so from our house, apparently it wandered up here from the Southern Tier and was lost

But they don't actually LIVE on our property. The rabbits actually have their dwelling on our property. I like it. Except they ate our Swiss Chard and sunflower

Coyotes btw are really bad news. They will gang up on pet dogs. Luckily they are hardly any around here, only when they get lost

Feral dogs, feral cats, feral pidgeons, feral hawks, and the odd small lizard or rat spider. All the vibrant diversified life around here is in the sea.

Ahh, I see. Your thread title said "around your house", and all those animals can be found within a couple of blocks. In my actual yard, you can forget the mountain lions, deer, bears, and coyotes, but I've seen everything else.
