There are not many other places to meet girls. Outside of bars they are even more picky about looks and are even less honest about that.

I've never met one of my girlfriends in a bar. Nor do I know of anyone whose formed a long-term relationship after meeting in a bar or a nightclub. That's actually pretty incredible, because I know of hundreds of bar hook-ups between my friends (of both sexes) and I. Hundreds of fleeting hook ups that have never gone anywhere. I don't even know why that it is.
