Totally confused

So I went on a 2nd date with this guy the other night.
It went well - or so I thought. We'd been speaking on facebook for a while leading up to it. He actually said "i like you".
On the date, talked, made out.
Complemented me several times and said "wish I didn't have to leave", said I had gorgeous eyes..

Anyway the next day he was like "yeah last night was really nice we should make out again for 3 hours".
Never happened, as we were both at different places.

But tonight i said him a text asking how his night went and here's where the drama unfolded.

Him: "Didn't ya get my text about going to hospital. Ya idiot".
Me: "Umm, no..what happen".
Him: "i'll send it again"
*5 min later nothing.
Me: "?"
Him" Don't ya have a brain and/or eyes. Read the msg that douche".
Me: "umm, i didnt get it, i guess it's not working.."

Fast forward a few hours.
Him: "i got a lot of shit on at the moment, im not really up for anything serious, all i can offer is a friendship. I hope you understand"

WTF..I don't understand..he seemed really interested and stuff and like even instigated this 2nd date.

I haven't written anything back yet..don't know if i should.

Kinda sucks, had started to fall for him.
I just don't understand, he was so nice the other night, picked and dropped me off..

wooooow you got played by an ASSHOLE player. i'm so sorry sweetie but it's better you found out sooner then later. if he ever calls or texts you again, IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE! better luck next time, and don't let this get you down, keep your chin up and you'll find someone great ;-)

it sucks that things seemed like they were going well but it sounds like he was in it for the one thing even if there was a hospital situation and he was really stressed theres no excuse to call you an idiot. Youre too nice for him anyway, he is an ass. Imagine if you did get involved, everyday would be drama.
