    Water bottle help!

So I have one of these bottles for protein shakes. I made one before school on Thursday before class since I was going to the gym after. I drank most of it, but there was a little bit left in the bottom. I mix mine with milk and that little bit sat in the bottom until yesterday when i opened my back pack up.

I cleaned it out and put it through a hot cycle in the dish washer. The smell is like ingrained in the bottle and I don't want to toss it ~_~

How the hell can I get the smell out? Microwave it with some scented soap or something in it? I don't mind if it has a smell to it, but NOT sour milk.

I just don't want to waste gas driving to get a $2 shaker. J/w if there's a way around this.

try letting some vinegar sit in it overnight, and then put it through the dishwasher again.

Is the smell so overwhelming that you couldn't just keep using the shaker anyway?

Or maybe scrubbing it with a baby bottle brush? Been working out for me lately! haha

You need something abrasive + bleach. Try adding a tblsp uncooked rice or dal and a squirt of your dishwasher detergent (contains bleach usually). Add water & shake. If your dishwasher det is a powder, you could just use that directly. If a gel, add the abrasive.

Try rubbing alcohol at about 92% plus sea salt as an abrasive.
    I don't chase, I replace.
