    Second Date

So Peter and I were not supposed to see each other this weekend as he had stuff going on all weekend, but Friday night while I was hanging out with some cousins from out of town - he called and said that he was available Sunday afternoon if I still wanted to get together. (Rules be damned I jumped at the opportunity.)

We met in Destin again (halfway between both of us) and had a few beers before we headed off to the beach. There is nothing quite as lovely as a beach when there is a full moon, so we walked out to a fairly exlcuded part of the beach and watched the sunset and waited for the moon to come up. (It was super cloudy though which kind of sucked.) Well standing on the edge of the water watching the sky he kissed me.

We ended up staying out on the beach for about 4 hours, waiting to see the moon break through the clouds, talking, kissing - it was INCREDIBLE! Then we headed to the Mellow Mushroom to get something to eat.

It was 11 when we had eaten and we were both tired and yet neither of us wanted to leave so we actually went back to the beach, spread a blanket, and took a nap.

I had such a nice date and this weekend he's supposed to come here to see his family and me. I am so excited!

So now I am walking that fine line where I am enjoying his company but trying to keep from appearing over-eager and running him off. Any advice as to how you are supposed to do that exactly? I know in the past I have had a tendency to give too much attention too soon, and I don't want that to happen this time. I really like this man and want to keep him around.

I think the mistake a lot of us make is thinking the state-appointed shrink is our friend. - Jack Handy

Jules Im the LAST person to give advice on this one! I seem to want to do the same thing! Give more than I should maybe too soon. So in light of my recent experience with Iron...I just let him lead the way...BUT I remain myself and do give, cause he makes me want to just eat him up hes so dramn great! I dont know what to tell you, other than be yourself sweetie!

Ok I want a night like you had! WOW! well iron and i did our first date out...but it wasnt all night. But this weekend we could!

Ok so youre obvioulsy in the right direction here with him...hmm yea I dont have any words of wisdom of refraining from giving, cause I do it too! Be yourself cutie!!!
everything happens for a reason...beginning to wonder why.

Ok I am so freakin excited for you. That date sounds WONDERFUL. Nothing better than feeling the guy you're into has mutual feelings back!

Like squirrley said, I'm also someone who gives more than I should a little too soon. Lately I just try to chill out, and be confident that he likes me and I don't have to try too hard to get him! So like squirrley said, just be yourself and I'm sure it'll be fine.

    Can't wait to hear more!
