I'm talking to a guy 1.5 years younger than me. He's 24 and I'm 25.5

Is getting involved with him a bad idea? Is him being younger than me going to cause problems later on?

1.5 year is not a big gap at all, thats nothing, he is almost the same age as you, 500 days or so is not much of a difference. now if you were 25 and he was like 19 or 20 then you might wanna take age into consideration but 1.5 year difference is nothing at all. And there is actually another thread talking about this, next time try searching for it, its about 2 pages long and everyones opinions on age difference is on it.

You can't get much closer to a persons age than within 1.5 years. At your mid 20s, a lot of people who are 24 will look and act older than people who are 26

what about later on when he's 29 and i'm 31? would he resent me for being older and turn to younger women? do such relationships have a high fail rate where the female is older?

If he likes you, whether or not he left you would NOT depend on you being a mere one and a half years older

If he doesn't like you, it wouldn't matter if you were older or younger, he would leave you anyway
