a guy that was in the same lecture and recitation class as you, takes the same bus home as you, but for half a freaking semester kinda ignored the fact that you even exist (not going out of the way to ignore you but just never making any sort of contact), ALL OF THE SUDDEN decides to strike up a conversation with you and sounds like he's really interested?

would that seem a bit iffy?

there hasn't been any sort of clear opportunity for me to strike up a decent conversation. of course i could take a risk and just pull a "HEY YOU'RE IN MY CLASS" but that would've worked better during one of the first days of class...

so yea.. we both seem to be doing a pretty good job ignoring each other. but I'm not so sure it that's a good thing LOL

what would be a good way to introduce myself at this point?.. if it's not too late?

PS: i could also go for some tips as to how to avoid the friend zone. and how not to sound too needy and as a downer.

yeah, it would be a bit weird. After the hello you'd have to address the fact you'd never said hi. I suggest you do so somehow as a joke. After she laughs you're golden.
