Jack is looking at Anne, but Anne is looking at George. Jack is married, but George is not. Is a married person looking at an unmarried person?

Negative, we know george is not married and jack is married. It never states if anne is married or not, so therefore the answer is cannot be determined.

C) Jack 'could' be married with Annie, or George (in some states). Or Jack could be married to someone else. We don't know If Annie is married or not. And George is not married. There are way too many unknowns for anything to be determined. Unless I am missing something?

anne is looking at george so even if she was married he isn't. we don't know if jack is looking at a married person because we don't know if anne is married. if george was looking at jack then we'd have something going on.

Wrong. If Anne is married that means she's looking at George, who is unmarried. If Anne isn't married Jack (married) is still looking at her.

One way or the other, someone married is looking at someone unmarried.

I love logic puzzles. Why do you bastards only post them when I'm asleep?

P.S. Here's a tip that will make solving all but the simplest logic puzzles a (relative) breeze. If the answer seems obvious you're mistaken. Look at it again from every angle.
