    Age-old scenario

In a sex-less, love-less marriage (18 years). Wife wants a divorce but we both can't afford to give up house, etc., so we cohabitate.
I've suddenly become very fond & attracted to a co-worker half my age after having drinks one night a few weeks ago. We've had a few lunches since then (not always my request, sometimes her idea) where we talk like crazy. I know all the negatives about 'office romances', let our age difference, but just can't get her out of my mind.
She's been in my office for almost two years & we've talked numerous times, but now we talk constantly & she's asking for my assistance in her work where she never did before.
I'm not sure if her feeling are reciprocal & she's thinking the same things or not. She's fairly outgoing, so can't really tell if I'm now just a good friend or if she's interested.
    Any comments?

Does your wife know about this? I mean, would SHE say she is okay with this behavior out of you? And if you are too poor to divorce, I hope you aren't buying lunch for this girl...

when was the last time you had sex with your wife? If she really does want a divorce, I'd go for it.
Is it burnin'? Well, f-ck, now you're learnin'.

    Thanks for the quick responses!
Vashit, my wife doesn't know anything - it's only been a couple weeks. She basically says we need to be happy (has told our grown kids that). Not necessarily poor, more like neither wants to give up our house - large pool, backyard, bar. But can't afford to buy the other out. We do Dutch on the lunches - guess that wouldn't look good.
Charlie, it's been over a year.

Anyways, take it slow with this girl. You've been stuck in this bummer marriage for a long time, and you're getting excited at the prospect of the potential interest of another woman, understandably. I wouldn't throw yourself at her though. Keep it cool. You may be thinking miles ahead of her.

Unless she shows some VERY obvious signs of interest, you're office buddies.
