Ok so I thought I had it and was like ahh I'll probably go bowling with her it's like our first date. I just called her and she said she was getting her nails done. So I'm guessing she would not want to go bowling after just getting them done. She said she will call me after! I don't know what to do now! Help.

I'm 20 years old she is 20 also. It might rain tonight. what can we do that is fun. Something to show her that I am a person to have a good time with. I'm so nervous. Suggestions ASAP please!

Frankly, I'm against any first date where some outside stimulus is totally responsible for entertaining you both. Once you can legally drink, things will get [/i]so[/i] much easier.

I always find movies awkward....

You can't talk, all you can do really is hold hands or make some ridiculous looking attempt to cuddle while making the armrest in between you, seemingly disappear.

Dinner and dessert is a good one, because you can usually walk and talk over the dessert. Let us know how it goes. Second dates can be equally intimidating.

Ok guys I just got back. Ends up we did go bowling she didn't mind at all. We played 2 games and had nachos while playing and talking had a good time. afterwords we went to get desert at a restaurant talking for a while. we really clicked. I didn't know what to do after I finally dropped her off I just ended up giving her a hug. Should I have went for a kiss?

I haven't dated in so long when would be a good time to make this move?

Go for the kiss at the end of the first date, you'll get better at reading if you should or shouldn't go for it though. My feeling is you should always go in straight on and slow with your eye's half-lidded, if she turns her head you get a hug and if she goes straight at you and closes her eyes, you've got the kiss.

I'm an old fart though so my advice doesn't always work for you awkward kids... glad you had a great time tonight, that's what it's all about!
