Precious Love

I have waited so long for this love and this feeling,
Like a mother is longing for her precious child.
Lonely days and long nights without love I've been killing,
And it came,and it's here - so aggressive and wild.

I will not let it go - not of this I've been dreaming.
For it's death I shall cry,I shall break,I shall mourn.
In my sleep on your strong tender shoulder I'm leaning,
And without your blue eyes in a crowd I'm alone.

You can say what you want,but I know,I am sure -
You will fall in this love just like me,you will see.
I'm not looking for neither escape nor a cure,
And you'll feel, and you'll love, and you won't set me free..

I absolutely loved this and I can definitely relate.

God, this just takes me back! Well, structure wise. It's been a really long time since I've written anything with stanzas and an actual rhyme pattern. I just free write these days. They're usually spoken word.

I really enjoyed this poem, especially the second stanza.

Man this poem reminded so much when my GF told me that she wanted to fall in love with me and that it was possible. Nice structure too, liked it.
