My roommate is hosting an couples party this weekend and the plan is for everyone to bring a bottle of wine, an appetizer, and a boardgame.
I'm looking for some new game. I've got Catch Phrase, Scattegories and the old classics which are fun but I want something new.
Any suggestions would be greaty appreciated.

Scene it can be fun, and I'm a huge fan of Trivial Pursuit. I've also played Foodie Fight, which is fun, but none of these compares to a good game of dominoes.

Cranium. We play this almost every New Years with friends.
Its a mixture of charades, pictionary, trivial pursuit and various word puzzles. The spelling backwards category is a lot of fun, esp w/some alcohol in you. There's also a category where you have to make a silent clay model of your clue & your team has to guess. Brilliant, I once had 'golf course' and they guessed it!
