quick question

My girlfriend won't text me or call me, at all unless I text/call her first. I'm always the one starting up the conversations but she happily talks to me for hours as soon as I start the conversation. I get sick of always having to be the first to text her all the time and she'll go days without doing anything until I eventually break and text/call her. Can I turn this around some how, should I be worried?

I wouldn't be worried,she keeps the conversation going after you initiate.

I am guilty of the same. I just never want to bother my boyfriend, he's a single dad to two kids and has a busy job.

Maybe say something like, "Hey, stranger. I miss you. I'd love to hear from you." Or when she does initiate kind of make a big deal out of it, tell her it makes your day to hear from her or something like that.

If that doesn't help maybe ask her if she isn't much of a texter or if she doesn't like to talk on the phone much. I HATE talking on the phone outside of work because I'm glued to the phone all day.

Just stop calling lol. Don't give in. Eventually she will call, especially if she *expects* you to initiate.

I completely understand Queens' POV of the situation, but at the same time dealing with people who don't have so much responsibility as your gf doesn't i assume, I think they just are stubborn and would rather be pursued than the pursuer. Women specifically.
