    2010 Vancouver Olympics!

I live in Vancouver and am not attending any events. But I will head downtown to check out the spirit and free shit they've got down there.

For the locals: what do you think? Are you going?

For anyone else: are you coming? Will you be watching?

I'll probably watch and be happy that I don't live in place that is hosting the Olympics.

I will not be watching as the TV coverage is through NBC which I am boycotting due to their treatment of Conan O'Brien

I wish i was there. Can't wait for men's hockey to begin. Canada vs USA should be a heck of a game.

I agree. Thankfully we have other options here instead of NBC.

They have a lot of skilled players but much more is needed. You need heart. Players who are willing to do dirty work(blocking shots, sacrificing in the corners and all that) which most Russians and Swedes do not have. Canadian boys will pull it off and USA will come close once again.

Oh definitely. Russia and Sweden are very strong and they will play exciting hockey. I just like Canada vs USA especially because it has become a huge rivalry. Sort of like Canada vs Russia although that has died down a little bit.

We have a very impressive roster this year. Besides Crosby there is Iginla, Nash, Thornton, Marleau. All these players are near the top of NHL. Russians are strong too with Ovechkin, Malkin, Semin and few others.

I'm only going to the local stuff, Girl. I am staying waaay away from Vancouver. If I didn't already have another trip booked, I'd be out of town for the two weeks.

Sure I'll watch it if it's on local. I have rabbit ears.
