Boyfriend seems to be lying about porn - why would he?

Were I your boyfriend I could: A) Tell the truth and have you go batshiat on me, get angry, and have to deal with your faux porn drama because you're a prude... Or, B) Play stupid and hope the drama is minimal.

You could say: If You want to watch porn You have to stop being a kid and deny it like a teenager that got caught. I don't mind You watching it but grow up and don't hide it like a little boy

Maybe he gets off on the shame of doing it when he knows his girlfriend doesn't like it? And there's a lot of things people will go at lengths to hide or deny because frankly they don't want to deal with someone else's bullshit drama. If she wants him to be an adult about it then perhaps she should act like an adult and not ask him when she finds it. She knows it's his, he knows it's his, and frankly he doesn't want to be in her words, "Confronted" about it because well, he likes porn. Tackling crap head-on all of the time is very tiresome if the other person is bullheaded about what they want.

I do this too, I watch porn quite often and have it on my computer. When at the start of our relationship my gf asked me if I watch porn, I said yes I do and I have it on my computer.
She said that it`s ok, she doesn`t care and she knows all the guys watch porn.
But later it started to disturb her. One time when she was using my computer she semi-accidentally went into my history and clicked herself to a porn-site where I had been. To me, she was acting like she had never seen porn pictures earlier. I said that I tough she was cool about it, but she started crying and said that wasn`t what she expected. (Just normal hardcore) Then she didn`t talk to me for an hour or something, and then she had changed her mind about me watching it and had me promise I`d delete all of my porn.

Of course I had to tell her I will do so to get things sorted out, I just hid them to external HD, and started to delete my web-history every time it was necessary. After that we didn`t talk about porn for a while, altough one time when she was feeling like it`s ok again for me to watch porn and asked if I did.. I didn`t know what to answer so I said that I don`t have any porn on my computer but yeah I watch it sometimes, but not often. And then she was like "how often?" I gave her a cautious answer, and things were ok.

The thing is, that even one woman can obviously have different opinions about porn, varying from time to time. Not even talking about women in general, some are genuinely ok with their men watching it and some would even break up if they knew about it. What use it is for a guy to reveal it to her girlfriend? It`s totally a harmless hobby, but it can cause serious problems with women.

And men, as myself, need porn. For example in the beginning of our relationship my gf satisfied my perverted fantasies, but she doesn`t do anything kinky anymore, and I love kinky stuff. I would never cheat on her, so watching porn is the only way for me these days to enjoy it.
