So how cold is it there? I don't know much about the Netherlands and the weather.

Mostly it's just below freezing. The Netherlands has a pretty mild climate, so there are no real extremes. Every winter there are 1 or 2 moments when about a foot of snow comes down and the entire country goes on lockdown because no-one can or dares to drive anymore. This winter it's been freezing more than usual and now we have a major shortage of salt, so the roads are kinda slippery.
Right now we don't have much snow...there are a couple of patches with a quarter inch of snow left. Nothing special, just boring and cold. And since I have a motorcycle I'm currently in a depression, because it has been standing still since october

Landscape-wise, The Netherlands is pretty famous for being almost entirely flat. Only in the southernmost part there are some gloryfied molehills.

And I live in a town where nothing really happens. Today the dutch carnaval started, which means a great portion of the country dresses up in a weird costume and consumes a 6-months-worth of alcohol in those 5 days.
And being the boring little ****, I truly dislike this period.
Good news is that is gives me a week off from school, so I've got some time to relax.

I'm not really known for sharing a lot....I'll tell you pretty much anything you want to know, but it's pretty difficult for me to just start telling stuff..

Well, the day only begun, but had breakfast while watching a movie this morning, now I'm about to head down to uni to pick up some books and then double back here to work on an essay for the rest of the day.

Valentine's day, yay. Meeting the missy in the morning at a church nearby, some strange ceremony I guess, will spend some time with her, head home to do chores/finish essay and then take her out for dinner in the evening, haven't thought of the venue yet.

Both of us have been very busy lately, so it's quite fine, haven't been in the mood for it anyways.

Bit anxious about the essay, and as soon as it's done I've got job assignments to do. Right now Im quite worried that I'm not in "the zone" when it comes to studying, quite tired of it already and having trouble with staying motivated, easily distracted lately.

How are you feeling today? -- Sleepy and thirsty. Unfortunately, I'm too sleepy to get myself a drink and too thirsty to get myself some sleep, so I think I'll just stare at my computer screen until I lose consciousness.
What did you do today? -- I did squat today.
What are you doing tomorrow? -- Going to campus tomorrow to hang out with an engineering major and work on an arcade cabinet I'm building. We'll be boring 3mm holes through steel arcade stick shafts so I can insert LED lights in clear balltops. Yeah, I'm a geek. So sue me.

Are you satisfied with that? -- Yeah. I kind of like not dealing with chicks on a regular basis. I can survive a few weeks without sex, especially if it means no one is nagging me.
