I think, overall the new portal is inferior to the old. It is less user friendly, less features (can't see which posts have been thanked, no gallery) etc. I also find it harder to read.
I would be in favour of reverting to the old look.

The thing I don't like is that it's so god damn huge. 3 posts in this thread and I can only view 1 post at a time. Isn't that just ridiculous. I should be able to view 5-6 posts at a time. Everything else is perfect. It's newer, less bugs, faster, more convenient.. just takes some time getting used to.
Anyway, I'm a bit upset that every time I get a thanked post, I am unable to view the post, because the 'last rep received' isn't correct.Last edited by doppelgaenger; 14-02-10 at 07:10 PM.

I preferred the old style... I'm not sure what feature loveadmin was trying to get when he changed over, except perhaps the blog, but that's really no different than posting a thread anyway.

If someone could just make the size of characters in the field where we write our posts BIGGER it'll encourage us to write more.
Sometimes I want to write something and get put off again as my eyes are struggling. Am I the only one thinking the characters are too small?

hey sookie, my friend, all you have to do to make the text large is ctrl and press + until the text is the size you want. another thing to do is hold ctrl and scroll up with the mouse wheel. All those options are available in your browser preferences as well. you're not bound to a website's graphical decisions.

in the old forum there was a list of the last for "thanks" I recieved...Can someone please explain what is so great about constantly being reminded of that which you cannot have?

There is one bug in particular that annoys me with the new format, every sixth post I make the "post reply" button goes over the text and makes it hard to see what I'm typing.

The look of the site doesn't bother me as much as some of the missing features, like the gallery and the history of thanked posts.
