Of course I have no point of reference...I just think shovin something the size of a watermelon out a hole a lot smaller couldn't feel good...once again though, no point of reference.

^^^well I suppose your opinion is relative to the size of watermelons your used to...they come in all sizes now...they have engineered them down to the size of grapefruits even....at least here...I don't know what they have in Europe, when I was in Europe I didn't check out how your watermelons were looking.

i've read things about this. like orgasmic birth and hypnobirth. they say the pain of labor is exacerbated by panic.

i don't know but i'll be trying to have an orgasm during labor and i'll let you all know how it turns out lol.

You could maybe give a birth in a pool? You know, baby swims out of you :p I've read that it doesn't hurt or the pain is smaller hehe :p

That might just have to do with a little more lubrication from the water maybe?...I can't imagine it would be enough to make that big of a difference...once again I'm not working with lady parts so I can't truly understand what that would begin to feel like.

I just can't imagine where it would ever feel ok or even pleasurable...it just seems like bs. But a lot of times pain is in our head and I do know that if you concentrate you can actually isolate the pain and turn it into a manageable sensation but it takes great amounts of control and practice...it isn't something you do without a lot of experience in meditation. That is why the work on women with their breathing because breathing and controlling blood pressure are key to this.

my god, i call bullshit. my two were tiny prem babies but jeez the contractions were like the worst cramp you could ever feel x 100...and the actual birth...well i wont even go there! Definately no chance of an orgasm-and it would be a bit weird if i did!

For some women birth isn't as painfull as it was for you qwert. My brother's wife told me that for her it was so quick and didn't hurt at all and she actually said that she could have another one that day Mind that you gave birth to twins, that's a double thing

well i have quite a few friends with kids and the only ones who didnt feel much pain are the ones who had epidurals. but mine seems to have been the most painful out of us- i think because i went into labour so early and suddenly pania set in, and i do have a really low pain threshold.
