So, recently(the past month or so) my GF has been asking for lots of anal sex. I started her on anal sex years ago, but at first we only did it maybe once a month. I loved doing it, and so did she, but she would normally orgasm in like 1 or 2 minutes, and often said it felt too intense. anyways, over the years she has been able to last longer, most likely due to the fact that it isn't 'new' anymore and because we often use anal toys, so she is more used to it.

Anyways, to the point. I used to be very slow during anal, because I didn't want to hurt her or anything. I wouldn't go all the way in usually either. But recently, we have been doing it much harder.... like porno hard... bed bouncing off the wall, etc.

I posted in another thread about people who engage in frequent anal sex possibly having problems with controlling their bowels when they get older. Doc_Durian posted that he didn't think this would be a problem, and I disagreed at the time. After posting a thread in this section titled 'Useful information Regarding Male Orgasm' I reasoned that perhaps doing excercises similar to kegal excercises with one's anus/rectum would prevent this. I am not sure, and I am unaware of any studies regarding this, but looking at it from a common sense standpoint it makes sense. Also as far as you "hurting" her, she definetly would have told you if you were.

Thanks for your response. I could see that being a problem for some porn stars. The ones who shove crazily huge penis / other items into their ass. But I think from normal anal sex, with just a penis of pretty much normal size, it wouldn't really be a problem. I guess only time will tell. I'd assume you are correct about exercising the muscles as well.

I think if it was really hurting/harming her she'd have let you know by now and would not be so willing to engage. I've only had some slight bleeding as an effect but that was only a problem right after the fact and ended pretty quickly.

Maybe do some research on gay mens websites? I don't know. I know gay men (who are quite open and willing to dish details) and I've never really heard them say anything about bowel issues as long term effects.

You actually COULD damage her anal sphincter, which can cause incontinence issues and rectal prolapse. It's not all that common, but it IS a possibility.

For the record, rectal prolapse is a really disgusting thing to see.

Vashti, would excercising one's anus/sphincter curb incontinence down the road? Also, am I wrongfully assuming that rectal prolapse is only feasible when someone is engaging in extremely rough anal sex (hard fast motion using large objects)?
