another tiay update

I kinda feel bad sneaking in here to post updates. What have you all been up to? I hope everyone's doing well.

me.. I finished college. Big show and such. I'm doing webdesign with my brother's company now, it's going pretty well. I'm living at home which is driving me a bit nuts, but traveling more is also on the agenda. I was in munich for three weeks in november.

I was with a girl . Well, and I messed around with her boyfriend too. He had ropes Then we all had pancakes. It was fun. Anyway, they're really awesome people, I might visit them again.

At the moment I'm seeing a guy who lives across the lake at home. He was living in Dublin and I visited him a lot there to get away. He moved back home because dublin is expensive, and we keep each other sane here. No sex or exclusivity though. Just messing about, hanging out, going to the gym/swimming pool, etc.

Is it odd that I haven't really slept with anyone, that is, in the PiV way, since my ex? It's not anything to do with him.. it's not that I've turned completely lesbo or something.. I think. I just haven't particularly wanted to and I can't pinpoint why.

also, those of you who remember my ex? I still talk to him sometimes. Time does heal all wounds, it seems. Or at least, it seals them pretty well. Get this delicious morsel that he randomly said when we were chatting a few weeks back:

"we should still sleep together some day
for old time's sake. I've gotten much better."

For "Old time's sake"? So not happening. But it somehow feels good to know he still wants it. It has taken me about this long to really get over it but I'd do it all again in a heartbeat. I guess everyone has to go through this first breakup thing. I'm just a late bloomer.

I went out with a girl recently- no big romantic spark though... but we got on well and we figured we'd make good travel buddies. Going to Italy on tuesday with her. Only for four days, but still. She said she can get cheap transatlantic flights through a relation who works at an airline. I am ITCHING to visit the states properly. Money and time are a bit lacking at the moment. But hopefully things will come together over this year.. or two. So heads up, if/when that happens I'll let you know where i'm going, maybe I can swing by and visit LFers.

I think that's me all summed up. Hope I haven't bored too much...

Oh em gee, Tiay! Nice to see old faces! I haven't been around much either. Travelling is a great idea, can't get enough of it myself. Travelled to Brunei, Malaysia, Thailand, Venice within a space of 6 months! Best thing to while you're young.

Kiechi-- that sounds very exotic. I'd love to see Malaysia- my landlord in new york (not the weird one) was from there; he invited me to dinner with his family and it was delicious.
So did you visit all these places all in one go or separately? For how long? What time/s of year? And, since I'm going there in a few days, what's Venice like?
I bought a nice backpack when I was in Munich, I'm kinda excited to get to use it.

oh and also, I'm in the wild west of Ireland, Mayo.

oh, college was plenty. Ok, so that means I only got what, 5 years of actual official education (homeschooling doesn't count).. the rest is just gonna have to come from the school of life.

hmm yeah the whole being into girls thing kind of appeared and.. well, I had bicurious leanings anyway so I didn't even notice that I changed. Maybe I should've posted in personal development. I'm not sure it "counts" till I form an actual proper relationship with a girl though.

Ups and downs... you know how it is. I love my job, though. never a dull moment.

Did we know about the break up of the NY boy? I didn't remember that.... Ahh well, you were probably too good for him.

Thus is life. I'm glad things are going well =). At least by your mood indicator.
Hm yeah, dull moments are to be avoided. It's not that I'm bored after college… it's more that I'm uprooted from that whole scene and that left me feeling a bit aimless and floaty. I also have this stupid ongoing mysterious health issue which is starting to seriously annoy me.
All in all though, I think things are beginning to assemble themselves.

hm, yes, I think we did know about NY boy. I'm the same way with remembering these things. I had an odd sense of deja vu writing this,.. like it might overlap with things I already said.

gosh, you girls have my biological clock tingling. I'm going to stay over at my new friend's place in dublin before we head off to italy, and she's looking after her sisters six month old boy. Very cute. Babies scare me because they seem so fragile... what with their tiny little hands.
Aww they're so lucky to get such amazing moms ^.^ ... despite the whole arranged marriage thing!
