This may seem really really corny, but do you believe in Soul mates, and if so how do you suppose you know if you've found yours. What about true love and all that stuff. Do you think any of it is real?...Sorry if its too cheesey of a question.

I do believe in something to that effect. Personally, I believe there is someone for everyone. Sure, the first person you fall in love with may not be your soul mate, but eventually you'll find that person.

I don't. I think the 'soulmate' thing is a load of bullcrap. I believe in finding someone that you can get along with. Which are PLENTY of people out there. Just find one that you can get along with really well, that's also into you and you're set.

I think people mistake "soul mate" for a lover. Your lover will not always be your soul mate. I believe that your soul mate is someone that you connect with on such a high level that it's very hard to get on without them around. I think we are lucky if our soul mate is also our lover.

I used to believe in soulmates till that person pulled my life apart. Now I agree with Alexi, I think it's about getting on with eachother.

Well I dont believe in a soul in the first place so it follows on that I dont believe in soul mates either.

I have to say, I don't think I, nor anyone else who does believe in Soul Mates, is naive. I think we all just have different perceptions on relationships. That doesn't make me naive, just different.

No i think only insecure people think that. "Theres a person for everyone out there". It's like love. there is no such thing as "Love". Yes maybe this view is naive but in order to believe in something you have to experience it. I haven't. So hence NO I do NOT belive in soulmates.

It's not only insecure people who believe that. Quit categorizing. It'd be like saying, everyone who has ever worn a pink short will never find love. See how stupid that sounds?

Anyway, I do believe in soulmates. I do know that when you find yours, you will just be able to tell.

Well I dont believe in soul mates but I dont think those that do are naive. In order to believe something you dont HAVE to experience it - plenty of people believe in God and not all have experienced anything, it's called faith (ironically, I'm atheist).
