I would like to get some input on a situation I had with my boyfriend. A few weeks ago we made plans to meet in the City where he was attending a conference. We had made the plans a week before. Then a few other men who were going to the conference called him two days before and ask if he wanted to ride with them. My bf had assumed they were taking their wives with them. Well obviously they decided not to so the plans I had with him were changed to accomodate these men. He still wanted me to meet him but they wouldn't be getting in until late and I would be making an hour and a half drive to meet him. I have to say I felt like I was put at the bottom of his list at this point in time. He wasn't happy that I didn't meet him and so the next day, I told him I would come up that night if he wanted me to. He said he did. I told him I could be there by 8. He said that was no problem. I ended up getting away earlier. I began texting and calling him at 5:30 to let him know I was on my way. No answer. I ended up getting to the city at 7:15. Still no answer to my texts or calls. I knew I was early so I wasn't upset because I had told him I would be there at 8. 8:00 comes around, still no answer to my texts or calls. I sat in my car in front of his hotel room until finally at 9:12 he called me. He said he had just got to his room. I was livid. I could not believe anyone could be that inconsiderate. He said he lost track of time, didn't know it was so late and his phone was on silent. He was also quite intoxicated because he had been in the room next door with his buddies drinking. Thats why he did not answer, he was next door drinking and was not the least bit concerned of what time it was or where I was. When I got to his room, I cussed at him, called him a not very nice name and yelled at him for quite a while. He admits he was wrong and inconsiderate but he is telling me that nothing he did deserved being called a name. He says me calling him a name is much worse than what he did to me. Help me out here, what do you think?
