Her name is starting to sound so unfamiliar....

Perhaps I have reached a new level on the "moving on" stage.. But, it's been a month since my ex and I broke it off and her name sounds so unfamiliar now.. It's really sad to be honest, I feel like I wouldn't even know her if I saw her again... It's crazy to think of all the time spent you spent with someone, all the memories, and then to watch them fade before your eyes. Maybe this wouldn't be so damn sad if I didn't care so much.

Nothing about break ups feel natural. It's not like it's an every day thing. I think I would have had an anneurysm if it was.
Waking up next to a beautiful girl,
Step outside and say hello to my beautiful world.

Yea, I can't stand how different I've felt lately. It's almost as if I left a part of myself with her.

I read a quote that said something like this (i'm probably butchering it but..) "When a relationship ends you don't leave her behind but rather take a part of her with you, and leave a part of yourself behind" That's probably a variation to the actual quote because I don't remember it word for word but at the same time, I think it still holds true.
Be careful with your heart, because when someone seems too good to be true, they usually are.
