    Compromise..blah, blah, blah...

My mother insists that in order for a marriage to work that I must make compromises. I told her that compromise is a cliché and that it only creates conflict and resentment.

    Does anyone agree with me?

Your mother is right. Also, you're not ready for marriage yet.

    Nope.

How old are you? How many long term relationships have you had?

Your mother is 100% correct. I'm not even married, and I know she is.
