i had a bikini wax today. i couldn't even finish because it hurt so bad. i'm sweating because of the pain. i took some tylenol before i went in. don't know that it helped much. can't imagine how it would've felt without it.

well, couldn't be worse than labor. although it would be nice to think of it that way.

Wouldn't it be easier just to shave? I mean I know a little stubble can still be felt but it doesn't bother me and unless you shake a lot, it shouldn't be as painful.

i usually do shave but because my belly is so enormous i cannot reach down there very well. tmi but i have to do some serious yoga moves to get down there. peeing in a cup everytime i see the doctor is becoming more and more of a challenge as well.

Well ya have bigger balls than me...I'd cry like a bitch....thats not an area anything should be ripped from....truly its not an area sharp blades should be but I like having my gf go down there to much not to maintain the area.

Maybe you should go into a barber shop, kick back your legs and say "take a little off the top"....or ya could just have your bf or husband (not sure if your married) give you a hand.

well my vagina is going to be looked at a lot starting this week. (weekly ob appointments from now on.) and then everybody and the janitor is gonna be all up in there in labor and delivery. gotta keep it looking nice down there haha.

One of my friends told me that she went to get waxed when she was 8 months pregnant and they refused her! Something about the pain possibly bringing on contractions? I think they just made that shit up.

I agree with you, you need to keep that area looking good considering how many people are going to be looking at it (scary thought). I think the thought of your man going at it with a razor is infinitely more scary than getting a wax.....and I've never even done one.

I get a Brazilian every 5 weeks. Can't live without it. Sometimes I even do my own o.O

They get easier as time goes on and the hair grows in finer.

I was just discussing this with a friend of mine and she said she shaves and is scared to wax...I directed her to this thread.

But I also told her I have been with both and it really doesn't matter to me either way.

My current gf shaves and she has a little stubble down there but it doesn't bother me at all...I've also been with a woman who waxed and was totally smooth and it was nice but not that important to me....I love when there is no hair down there but I don't care how its gone.

Miso, I'm planning to do the same thing. I can't even see to do Personal Topiary properly any more. I don't want an unkempt bush, especially when it's going to be on display to God and everyone.
